We had an awesome week in Michigan in this gorgeous house. The place was impeccable, great amenities, large awesome yard with a perfect view of the sunset. The owners were excellent with communication and the location couldn't have been better. If you're a rockhound this private beach is full of treasures. I highly recommend this rental!

STUNNING! Absolutely beautiful views of Lake Michigan. So peaceful laying in the hammock, listening to the waves hit the shore. Big backyard with trampoline and swing! The walk to the beach is not so bad, but coming up really gets the blood flowing! Our dogs loved watching the chipmunks and running up and down the beach. We really appreciated the cooking utensils/pans so we didn’t have to pack as much. The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed, including some delicious, Michigan made snacks & goodies! We will definitely be returning in the future 💜

What a wonderful home. We had a great family getaway including our dog! House was spotless and very unique! Sunset views were spectacular! The back yard was awesome. Owner was great to deal with. Everything worked as it should. We would definitely come back!!

Through and through we would recommend this home and property! So many nice touches, helpful communication with Toby, beautiful yard and beach, and a fun, comfortable home. Thankful to have found this gem.

We had an amazing time. The pictures actually do not do it justice. Beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for our family and friends with lots of coversational pieces! The weather did not really cooperate while we were there but we had everything we needed at the home. The owners are top notch and were very responsive throughout our stay. All of the finishing touches were with guests in mind. The view of the lake is perfect with a nice scenic path to the beach. If you have small children or family members with mobility issues, just be extra cautious as the path is a bit steep in some spots. We come to the area every year and this has to be one of the best places we have stayed. Highly recommend this home and host!

It was an absolute fabulous stay! The listing accurately describes every detail of the property. You know exactly what to expect when you step foot on the property with zero surprises! The house was immaculate! I only wish my house could be as clean and organized as this was prepared for our stay. The house and property are completely welcoming and relaxing. The amount of backyard space you will enjoy as you enjoy sunrise/sunset, star gazing, or sitting by the fire is fantastic. The walk down to the beach is well maintained and we made the trip multiple times a day even though we had no intention of going into the lake due to it being October. We have a 7 and 4 year old and they could not get enough of the trampoline which was greatly appreciated. It was in great condition and I enjoyed several rounds of jumping with my children and felt entirely safe. The communication between myself, and the owners was amazing! I received quick responses even when I would message them multiple times with various questions. I always received an answer and quite promptly. I felt that they really were going out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. We were sad when our stay ended and took numerous photos to remind us of our stay. We could not be happier with everything. If we ever plan a stay in this area again we are sure to book this location and I would highly recommend you do as well! Sincerely, -Mickey O.

This is a special place. Views are absolutely stunning! Quiet beach and easy to access. Plenty of room and accommodations for everyone in your family, including your precious pup! A time capsule with all the comforts of home. We loved the decor and throwback memorabilia. Lots of personal touches. All you need for a great trip away with your family. We would love to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at this home over New Years. The house was cozy, the kitchen was well equipped for our meal making, the long table was the perfect place for us to gather to eat and to play games while also enjoying the views. The retro theme of the house is carried out in so many details, and we had fun pointing out our favorites to each other. The hike down to the beach, while not easy, was beautiful, and the trip was so worth it. One of my favorite things about being in this area in the winter is that the beach and the lake are never the same. It was so interesting this year, we spent hours walking along the beach as seeing the ice balls in the lake, the sculptures on the beach that looked like someone had built hundreds of sand castles. So beautiful. The owner was super responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this house and would rent again.

From the hospitality of the host to the beautiful property everything about our stay was fantastic! The host was always available for questions or concerns. The little touches around the house made us feel so welcomed and at home. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We spent a lot of time at the beach which was impeccable! The sand was so soft and clean. The trial to the beach is a cool adventure in itself. We loved that there were umbrellas and chairs available at the beach for our use, so appreciated. Our dogs had an absolute blast at the beach! Thank you for making our quick trip to the west side of MI so memorable!

This property exceeded all expectations! The house was beautiful and SUPER clean. Retro decor was thoughtfully designed and amazing. The pictures truly didn't do it justice and the house was awesome for our size group of 10 (7 adults and 3 kids). The yard was big including a large patio, second patio with fire pit, trampoline (which the kids LOVED), Gaga ball pit, and beautiful view of Lake Michigan. The switchback path down the bluff to the private beach felt like a secret entrance to serenity. If you want a private, beautiful, clean beach this is it. Of note, physical capability is needed to access the path to the beach due to stairs and some uneven ground. The host and property are fantastic!

My wife and I were searching for the perfect beach front home near Benton Harbor / St. Joseph that had everything we needed and this was literally the only home that had it all! Steps to a private beach that went on for miles, huge hard, plenty of places to hang out, so close to the town, cozy beds, tons of tvs, and a stocked kitchen, this home was perfect for our small family and our dog, we loved every minute and wish we could stay longer! We’ll definitely be back!
